We would like to thank individuals in our community for their contributions they have made influencing, motivating and cultivating individuals and education in our community. Nominations for 2009 LEGENDS of Clarkston are due April 1, 2009. A LEGENDS Event will be held in the Fall of 2009. A plaque is hanging in the Asotin County Library lobby naming our first two recipients, Marjorie Briney and Flo Johnson.
The Clarkston Education Foundation decided it is time to recognize the "great" people in our community who create a "bridge to now" thanks to their resourcefulness and will to move things forward in education. We would like them to be thanked, honored and celebrated for the contributions they have made influencing, motivating and cultivating individuals and education in our community. These are people who are the roots from which we've grown and people who have grown from the roots of LEGENDS before them. They are people who have fostered education in various ways, which is why we have so much respect for them and why we want to recognize their journey.
The next LEGENDS event will be held in the fall of 2009. TO NOMINATE A LEGEND, CLICK HERE FOR THE NOMINATION FORM.
